NSCBTA honours Ron & Della Levy with celebration and by establishing the Ron Levy transportation scholarship at NSCC
Surounded by friends and relatives, Ron Levy was honoured on June 4th by fellow members of the Nova Scotia Community Based Transportation Association (NSCBTA).
Held at the Pictou Campus of NSCC and hosted by well known local celebrity Jack MacIsaac, the event paid tribute to both Ron and Della Levy. The couple were feted for their many years of dedicated service and leadership in the field of community transit service. (...continued)
Ron Levy is a champion of accessibility for individuals and organizations throughout Nova Scotia. As a founder and volunteer manager of CHAD Transit, he has kept Pictou County citizens and their communities connected since 1996.Getting Nova Scotia Community College students where they want to be is important to the Nova Scotia Community Based Transportation Association.
