November 20, 2008 - (Thursday) - Board of Directors meeting (LAWPS). The meeting will take place at 3:30 pm in the Carmichael Room at the Aberdeen Professional Centre.
November 03 -04, 2008 - (Monday) - Michelle Fudge, Low Vision specialist with CNIB Sydney will be receiving clients by appointment from our office in the Aberdeen Professioal Centre.

August 17, 2008 - (Sunday) - Summer Fun for Everyone Community Event 1pm to 4pm at Trenton Park. Come with us for a day of fun, to meet the folks at Let Abilities Work Partnership and to find out how you can join in and share your thoughts and ideas for even more fun events.
August 11, 2008 - (Monday) - Free Concert 6pm to 8pm on the Pictou Wharf. Come out and enjoy the renditions of entertainers Sarandy.
August 06, 2008 - (Wednesday) - Bowling 2pm to 4pm. Be sure to call CHAD Transit at 928-1234 well in advance if you need transportation to this event.
August 04, 2008 - (Monday) - Free Concert 6pm to 8pm on the Pictou Wharf. Come out and enjoy the renditions of entertainers Laura Watson & Gordon Tucker. Sorry! This was rained out for us. Would have been good.
July 29, 2008 - (Tuesday) - Archery at the Michelin Club 11pm to 2pm. Archery is open to everyone with an interest in archery (from first timer to expert). All people with and without disabilities are invited to come out and participate.
July 28, 2008 - (Monday) - Free Concert 6pm to 8pm on the Pictou Wharf. Come out and enjoy the renditions of entertainers Rick Rankin & Glen Gordon.
July 23, 2008 - (Wednesday) - Bowling 2pm to 4pm. Be sure to call CHAD Transit at 928-1234 well in advance if you need transportation to this event.
July 09, 2008 - (Wednesday) - Bowling 2pm to 4pm. Unfortunately, CHAD Transit is overbooked on this date and as such will not be available.
June 26, 2008 - (Thursday) - Archery at the Michelin Club 1pm to 4pm. This activity will be open to all persons with and without disabilities. Everyone with an interest in archery (from first timer to expert) is invited to come out and participate.
June 24, 2008 - (Tuesday) - Movie "The Incredible Hulk" 1 PM to 3 PM. This showing will be close captioned to include the Deaf & hard of hearing. Everyone welcome. Admission $6.99; mini pop & mini popcorn $5.00 or $3.99 for kidpack. Be sure to call CHAD Transit at 928-1234 well in advance if you need transportation to this event.
June 19, 2008 - (Thursday) - Our Annual General Meeting will be held from 7 PM to 9 PM in the program room at the New Glasgow library and following the Annual General Meeting of CHAD (Central Higlands Assoc. of the Disabled) which will take place at the same location beginning at 6:15 PM. Refreshments will be available, both meetings are open to the public and everyone is invited to attend.
June 15, 2008 - (Sunday) - Johnny Miles Run 4.5km Wheelchair Leg - Starts at The Brick. We gather at 8:30 AM to start at 9 AM. Call John Kyle for details 755-1516
June 14, 2008 - (Saturday) - Outing at LORDA. Be sure to call CHAD Transit at 928-1234 well in advance if you need transportation to this event. We expect the CHAD bus will be leaving for LORDA in the morning about 10am.
