Closing in on the Final Event
I have sent a request out to you all, asking for assistance in find volunteers about 1-2 weeks ago and have had no response. Lea and I spoke about using my resources and I have done that and exhausted my resources other than the Board.... Now once again I ask you to please if you can be of assistance, let me know what you can do.... I'm looking for some one to run the games, to BBQ, Hand out prizes, if any of you can provide prizes it would be great, Lea has already offered a prize from S.M.A.C...Thank you Lea....
So that everyone knows we have 3 sponsors so far and it's not nearly enough for the event to go off successfully!!!

Scotsburn- 60 mini sips & 60 ice cream cups
Atlantic Sup- we won't find out until Wednesday

There's only a few days until the event and I will be out Weds & Thurs making games out of material that has been donated and I will be off Friday to off set the time I will be using on Sunday for the Event.....
Once again I thank you all for everything you can do, I do realize you do lead busy lives, but this is my last day with Let Abilities Work and would like to see you all.

B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L Evening in Pictou

Monday, July 28/08 was a beautiful evening to just sit and be entertained at the Pictou Marina.
I was SO pleased that Philip was able to capture that beautiful rainbow for us, in this picture.
'Cuz, it just made an already b e a u t i f u l picture. . . e v e n M O R E SO ! ! !
At Ieast those were my thoughts, anyways!

The Pleasure is all mine
The pleasure has been all mine,
To all of you I've had the pleasure of meeting, it has been wonderful to meet you all and get the chance to see you for who you really are. My time here has gone by way too fast, but i guess that's what happens when you do your best to get all the work done that you can before you leave... It has been a great honor to work for this organization with such a worthy cause. This experience has been an eye opener for me as I've kind of missed out on some of what life has to offer by being sheltered and not getting to meet very many people other then who I've worked for. When you work construction 60-70 hours a week since you were 19 there really isn't much time for anything else,let alone meeting new faces... But I thank all of you for this wonderful chance to help sharpen my business skills and jump in and get my feet wet. It has been a privilege.
